Privacy Policy

This policy applies to all apps and services made by Burrowworks, including ClearCycle. We keep things simple: we collect only what we need, we don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone except the services required to make the app work.

What We Collect

• Your email address, used to create and identify your account
• Financial account data connected through Plaid, including account balances and transaction history
• Budget data you enter manually, such as categories, allocations, and transactions

How We Use It

• To provide and operate the app — your data powers your budget
• To sync transactions automatically from your connected bank accounts
• To authenticate you securely when you sign in

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics resale, or any purpose beyond running the app.

Third Parties

We use Plaid to connect to your bank accounts. When you link an account, Plaid's own privacy policy governs how they handle your banking credentials. We receive transaction and balance data from Plaid but never see or store your bank username or password.

Your data is stored on AWS infrastructure in the United States.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by submitting a data deletion request. We will process it within 30 days and confirm by email.

Security

All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted. Passwords are never stored in plain text. Bank credentials are never stored by us — they go directly to Plaid.
